A small workroom, run by hand

We're a tight team of fabricators, installers and project coordinators based in Chapin, South Carolina. Every drape that leaves our shop has been touched by someone whose name is on this page.

Founder

Lori Macisco

Owner · Principal Designer

Lori grew up around her grandmother's sewing machine in upstate New York, and learned early that a properly weighted hem is the difference between a window treatment that lasts five years and one that lasts twenty. After fifteen years coordinating soft-furnishings for boutique hotels on the East Coast, she moved her family to Lake Murray and opened Macisco Contract Interiors in 2014.

Today she handles every quote personally, walks every install on opening week, and still spends Friday afternoons at the cutting table when a deadline is tight. She holds an IFDA professional membership and an OSHA-10 site certification.

"Contract work isn't glamorous, but it matters. A guest sleeps better, a resident feels safer, a meeting room looks the way the architect drew it. That's the job."
