The most sustainable textile is one that does not need to be replaced in 24 months. Our standards are written so finished goods last 8 to 12 years in service — and what we cannot keep in service, we recycle.
Greenguard sourcing
Our primary mill partners — Maharam, Knoll Textiles, Designtex, Carnegie — hold Greenguard or Greenguard Gold certification for indoor-air quality.
Low-VOC adhesives
Cushion lamination, valance backing and trim bonding use water-based, low-VOC adhesives certified to SCS Indoor Advantage Gold.
Fabric remnant recycling
Off-cuts go to Material Aid Carolina, a Columbia-based program that diverts 1.4 tons of textile waste per year from regional landfills.
Reupholstery first
When existing FF&E is structurally sound, we recommend reupholstery over replacement. We document teardowns to preserve original construction notes.
Local fabrication
100% of our cutting, sewing and finishing happens at our Chapin, SC workroom — no off-shore production, no air freight.
5-year warranty
Every panel is warrantied for five years from install. The longer it stays in service, the lower its lifetime footprint.
